West Palm Beach

Summary: Miami's "Amor 107.5" is the top-rated Spanish-language station in West Palm Beach, as the Univision Radio Spanish AC - even as the station loses audience share. That's because Clear Channel's Spanish Hot AC WRLX "Mia 92.1" slid 2.1-1.2, 12+, in the summer ratings. Glades Media' new WAFC-FM 99.5 is now the leading regional Mexican choice in the market, while rival WBGF-FM 93.5 holds its own with a less potent signal.

Summary: Border Media' KHHL-FM "98.9 La Ley" was the No. 1 Spanish-language radio station in Austin in summer 2009. On Monday, the regional Mexican station - along with co-owned Spanish Top 40 KXBT/KXXS "Digital" - signed off the air and were replaced with English-language Talk and English-language Sports talk formats, respectively. Border Media/Austin market manager Jerry Del Core remains in place, with KFON-AM "Juan 1490" and its regional Mexican variety format the company's lone remaining Spanish-language property in Texas' capital city.

Summary: Clear Channel's WGBT-FM "La Preciosa" is set to disappear. On January 1, 2010, the station will switch to English-language talk in a power play that rechristens the station as "Rush Radio" - in homage to conservative yakker Rush Limbaugh. Glenn Beck, another right-wing talk host, will be on WGBT's new lineup. WGBT has been "La Preciosa" since February 2006.
